HOLLYWOOD, MD. – Robert Bryner joined Platform Aerospace as Chief Engineer this month. In this role, he is accountable for establishing and controlling technical milestones and quality performance of all engineering disciplines and projects.
Robert brings over 37 years of engineering experience, ranging from detailed circuit design to system‐level architecture, as well as manufacturing, customer support, and program management experience. Most recently, he served as the Lead Engineer for the Mission Computer Alternative (MCA) program, overseeing the engineering team's development of a new mission computer for the Navy’s T45 Goshawk training jet.
Within the UAV industry, Robert has worked on multiple unmanned systems programs, advancing open system software to control all types of vehicles and the ground base system for the Navy’s MQ-25 Unmanned Tanker program.
Offering solid analytical skills in hardware, software, and integration, he has been recognized for his innovative design and working knowledge to guide the development of products, including mainframe computers, telemetry equipment, and ground-based control systems. Robert takes pride in his teams’ accomplishments in progressing electronic products quickly and successfully for the market.

Robert currently studies Field Programmable Gate Arrays, printed circuit card design, software, and platform integration. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
